One Month Old Today!

Mommy decided that she was going to take a picture of me each month in my bouncy seat so we can see how I grow! I am one month old today! Yipee!! Mommy thinks I am already growing too fast! 

1 Month Check-up

I had my 1 month check-up today! I weigh 9 lbs. 15 oz. and was 22 in. long. I received my first shot today...the Hep B shot. I didn't like the shot very much. I also don't usually like getting my length measured, I don't like Dr. Bergdahl looking in my ears or really messing with me in any way. Mommy hopes that will change soon!

I love my Grandma, even if she does smack me on my back all the time. 

I don't know why they didn't retake this picture and get me with my eyes open. Anyways, this is me (the little one in the pink dress), mommy, daddy, grandpa and grandma in front of our house.  

Grandma and Grandpa flew back to Missouri today. I hope their arms didn't get too tired. Grandma is a most excellent burper. Hmmm, that didn't sound right. Hope you get the idea. 

Marty and I usually wear our sunglasses when we go outside.  

Diva life is exhausting. 

All I could think while Mommy and Grandma were taking this picture was, "I hope there are no hummingbirds around."

I love taking pictures with flowers in a black and white world. 

I was enjoying a nice warm bath tonight when a five-headed monster appeared to taunt me as I lay there, helpless. I was mezmorized by it's brilliantly kaleidoscopic evilness. (Yes, evilness is a word.) 

I was reading my Baby Einstein book called "See and Spy Counting" to Grandma.  

Tina Rodriguez bought this for daddy but I stole it. Pretty good sized chompers for 3 weeks. 

Every once in a while I hear a strange noise behind me. I think someone is following me around making these noises, like the "Fresno Barking Spider" I keep hearing about, but I'm not quite sure.

Kinda feel like John the Baptist here. You know, the whole "head on a platter" thing?

I love taking baths in my baby bathtub. I hate getting my hair washed though. If I cry loud enough mommy will take my out of my bath and wrap me up tight, like a burrito.

Thought I would throw this in too. This is the dang stork that bit me on my eye after delivering me to mommy and daddy. That beak looks nice and friendly, but believe me when I say that that beak hurts.  

Vince's sermon was so boring today that I slept all through church. Just kidding, I would have slept through Mike's sermon too, but not daddy's.

It is amazing! Nana, from Napa, is holding me and she didn't make everyone wear a mask to protect me from all the Nor Cal germs. If you look very carefully you can see Grandpa sneaking over and touching me even though he didn't wash his hands first. Evil Grandpa.

I like it when mommy holds me by my neck, even though I can't really breath, because it makes me feel like a little turtle.
