6 Month Check-Up

Today I got to visit Dr. Bergdahl for my 6 month check-up. I weighed 16 lbs. 8 oz. and was 27 3/4 in. long. I also got 4 shots today. Mommy said that I hardly cried when I got the shots and that I was just a tough little girl!

This is an outfit that my mommy's Uncle Bill and Aunt Shirley got me! Hopefully this will still fit me come Easter since it is the perfect Easter outfit. 

Mommy was swinging me really fast so I had to hold on extra tight! 

Mommy and I went swinging again today!

This is my mommy's friend Amber and her daughter Shaylee! We went to the park with them. I can't wait until Shaylee and I can crawl around and play together. Shaylee was born almost 1 month after me.  

Today I got to take my first bite of apples! Mommy and daddy got me "Tender Harvest Organic Apples" and it tastes very good. Mommy said I made a few sour faces in the beginning but it didn't take me long to love them. 

Mommy and I went for a walk today! It was a really nice day today! It was really sunny so mommy put my hat on my head to help keep the sun out of my eyes. This is a picture she took right after we returned from our walk. 

After having so much fun on the swings at the park, mommy and daddy bought me my own swing for home. I liked it a lot and I actually started to fall asleep in it. Mommy likes this swing a lot because she can move it anywhere she wants without a lot of trouble. Do you see Marty under my swing. He liked it that we were outside to play with him. Mommy also wanted me to tell everyone about my outfit. I got this athletic outfit from my Grandma Chris for Christmas. Mommy thinks I look really cute in it (as well as all my other outfits). 

Mommy thinks I might me teething so she gave me this carrot to bite on. It felt nice on my gums since it was cold. I also enjoyed the taste of it. It will be nice when I get some teeth so I can eat real, solid food! 

Taylor and me decided to swing together. Do you see our matching sunglasses. I had a lot of fun hanging out with Taylor today! 

This is my in the swing at the park. I loved the swing! Mommy said I looked like I was going to fall asleep in it! 

This is Chris and me at the park. He came by after school to see mommy and me. Mommy babysat Chris (and his two brothers) for 7 1/2 years. 

Mommy, me, Lisa, Taylor, Amber, Shaylee, Kelly, and Makayla all went to the park today. This was my first outing to a park! I had a lot of fun. I played on this horsey and I put my toes in the sand and I got to swing. Oh, we also got to see a lot of ducks! The park we went to is called Oso De Oro park and it is a really big park with a lot of fun stuff to do. I can't wait till I am big enough to play on all the different things. 

Mommy and I went to see Lisa at her work today. I was trying to help her with her paperwork! Lisa is mommy's friend and she used to work with her before she had me.

I love typing on Mommy and Daddy's computer keyboard so Daddy gave me one of thier old keyboards. In this picture, I was trying to figure out you hook it up.

I turned 6 months old on the 25th of January! Mommy and Daddy think I am growing up too fast!
