After eating a good dinner at Gma Pat and Uncle Bill's house I fell into a deep, deep sleep...only to be awakened to my mommy harassing me by putting me in a strange torture device that big people call a "car seat," whatever that is. I hate that thing, unless daddy is driving down the highway. Then, for some reason, I get real quiet and enjoy the ride with the wind blowing through my peach fuzz. 

Once I learn to use my hands life will be much easier. Either that or get a magnetic binky and some cool bling bling on my teeth so that anytime I open my mouth my binky will magically be pulled in where it belongs. Opps, I don't have teeth. My plans will have to wait.

2nd Doctor Appointment

On Friday (yesterday) I had my second meeting with doctor Bergdahl. I am now 20 3/6 in tall and weigh 7 pounds, 12 ounces. I don't know why, but doc measured my head too. In case anyone cares, my head is 35.4 cm.

This trip was a little better. I didn't get as upset as last time. I go back to the doctor at the end of August for my one month checkup and start on shots. I already don't like needles and I have never even seen one. :)

First Doctor Appointment

Yesterday I met my doctor for the first time. I didn't like him very much. He poked and pulled way to much. I cried, loud. Then he wrapped me real tight, like the burritos that daddy eats, and it felt nice - kinda like being back in mommy's tummy. I felt safe then.

Doctor says I lost 5 ounces since I was born on Sunday. That is normal, from what all the other babies tell me. I was happy that I lost weight, cause I think diapers make me look fat. Mommy and daddy say that I'm cute, and I agree. :)

Here is a picture of Daddy and me on my first day home. They introduced me to the swing really quickly, but I am not complaining. I love my swing most of the time except when I want to snuggle with mommy and daddy.
